How to manage 3ware hardware RAID arrays

In my case I manage my 3ware hardware RAID arrays from a Knoppix rescue system.

You need to begin by loading the appropriate kernel module:

# modprobe 3w-9xxx

Then you can then use the command line interface tool to manage your array:

# cd /usr/local/sbin
# ./twi-xxx-amd64
